New magnetic charging accessories bring convenience to users for charging Somfy V2 Li-ion Embedded Motors and Li-ion External Battery Pack

Somfy, the world’s largest manufacturer of motors for interior window coverings and exterior solar protections, announced today the launch of magnetic charging options for its V2 Li-ion Embedded Motors and Li-ion External Battery Pack.

The new accessories include an adaptor cable for use with the traditional V2 Li-ion motors and external Li-ion battery pack. A rigid extension cable with magnetic contact makes it easier to connect the V2 charger to the motor or battery, depending on the installed product. The added level of convenience can reduce regular wear and tear on the charging port by making it easier to connect the charging cable magnetically.

“These new accessories are designed with convenience in mind, providing a seamless magnetic connection every time.
